Chapter 6: Science of the Inner and Outer Cosmos

Chapter 6: Science of the Inner and Outer Cosmos

There is a parallel theory that what happens within us also happens outside of us and vice versa.  This correlates with what was stated in earlier chapters of the micro/macro cosmos.  As all things are matter and space, all is connected through conscious thought and within all of us is the connection to a world often unknown, our own.  The old shamanic saying is to journey outward we must go within ourselves.  This brings up our DNA, blood, and energy as a source of connecting to the divine creation in all things.  The sacred keys to the otherworld are not physical manifestations, but internal creations.  Through meditation, we can go within and explore our world as well as unravel our unconsciousness thoughts and desires.  Once you have understood the inner world and its makeup, it is possible to travel the collective conscious, the astral and higher worlds.

What is the purpose of exploring the inner world and going outward?  It is important to refer to the topic of, “know thyself”.  By exploring your inner world, you learn more about your unconscious drives, desires and needs.  From your inner river, the veins of our body act like energetic sub rivers that spread throughout the body.  You will further remove energetic blockages found in your exploration.  Using meditation to explore your inner nature, you are bringing light (consciousness) to your darkness (unconsciousness).  This topic might seem repetitive but in the case of learning of oneself, it is of the highest importance for spiritual and personal growth.

  The Different Worlds:

  • Inner World: Unconscious and conscious thought, beliefs and inner creation
  • Physical Plane: Focuses on Sense Perception. Physical, mental and emotional experiences
  • Lower Astral: Thought Forms (thought creations), Telepathy, Channeling, Out of body experiences, Extra-sensory perception, and Psychic experiences.
  • Higher Astral: Beyond Death, Peak Experiences (shamanic or traumatic), Deep Meditation
  • Spiritual Realm: Underworld, Stairways to the Heavens, Divine Beings.

Journeying to these realms is not without risk, as the individual must remember his or silver cord, if lost.  All one has to do is pull on the cord and he or she will fly back into his or her body.  In addition, there are entities on the other planes that are malicious and those that are waiting to aid.  In this book, the focus is on self-exploration as well as self-balance.  This primary work will focus on the inner world as it is the bridge to the outer and higher worlds.

By journeying to your inner world, you will find a world filled with your beliefs, desires, and fears.  The malicious beings there are often your shadows (unconscious fears) taken form to either keep you from proceeding or aid you in overcoming your fear.  Using alchemy discussed in chapter two, you can transform the fear to a higher vibration thus transforming the fear.  The shadow then becomes an ally in exploring your inner world.  I often view the higher vibration allies as Angels due to my early spiritual upbringing.  Other than the inner shadows, due to our DNA you might come across ancestors and relatives past on.

Through DNA exploration, sites like Ancestry.com can use the DNA to pinpoint where the individual’s ancestors came from and who they were.  This information ties in the theory that our blood and DNA holds the key to our ancestors and their knowledge.  Many belief systems view this knowledge as held within the Akashic Records.  The Akashic Records holds the past present and some would say future occurrences.  The journey is extremely personal, therefore; each individual experience will be different.

Meditation: Exploring the Inner World Prep

  1. Unplug or turn off your phone and make sure you will not be disturbed.
  2. Cast a sacred space or circle around you. (See pre-requisite)
  3. Call to your animal allies to join you
  4. Cleanse the circle with earth, air, fire and water….and smudge stick (white sage or copal)
  5. Have the speaker guide sit outside of the circle while you are safely within it and pause at specific points
  6. Have speaker light additional candles outside of your circle to brighten room

Meditation (scroll to bottom for audio):

When ready sit and take some deep breaths in and out.  Focus on the candle and close your eyes.  See a door before you the size of a normal bedroom door with a silver chrome handle.  When ready, open the door and walk through into your Inner temple lit with candles.  Your animal allies should be in your room waiting for you.  (Pause)  Take time to see if everything in your room looks in order.  When ready go through the mirror door and walk to your river.  (Pause)  At your riverside look to your left and right.  In the distance, you should see your chakras citadels churning the water like generators.  (Pause)  Turn towards the river, in front of you a bridge appears that rises high over the river and connects to the to the others side.  Walk towards the bridge and up the steps and stop in the middle.  Take a moment to look around you.  What structures do you see?  Do you see desert, ocean, or do you see a vast forest?  Take a mental note of these.  (Pause)  Now turn to look down your river, you will notice trails leading away to structures in the distance.  (Pause)  Know that this world is yours, and when you wish to explore you can come here at any time.  When you are ready visualize a door in front of you appearing on the bridge, open the door and step inside.  (Pause)  You are back in your inner temple.  Thank you allies for coming with you.  (Pause)  When ready open your eyes.

Meditation Closing:

  1. Cleanse the space with Smudge Stick
  2. If needed do Tree of Life exercise to ground and center
  3. Close the Circle
  4. Write in your journal notes on your experience
